Summary
This page provides free downloads of all current Adobe Web players. For best results, first upgrade to the latest version of your browser, then download the current Web player. For more information on Adobe Web Players please see the Flash Player Support Center. Adobe Flash Player; Authorware Player; Adobe Flash Player.
- Flash Player works with most Windows Operating System, including Windows XP / Vista / Windows 7 / Windows 8 / Windows 10. Although there are many popular Browsers and Plugins software, most people download and install the Freeware version.
- Browsers and operating systems that support Flash Player continue to decrease so Adobe strongly recommends immediately uninstalling Flash Player. Apple Safari version 14, released for macOS in September 2020, no longer loads Flash Player or runs Flash content. Please visit Apple’s Safari support for more information.
- Although Flash Player was the backbone of the internet, due to a lot of privacy and security concerns most users have moved away from using it. Flash supports the use of local shared objects which, like cookies, store user data and can be potentially problematic if a lot of web browsing information is compiled over time.
- The latest version of Flash Player is available for Windows XP SP2+ and later, Mac OS X 10.6 and later and Linux. Adobe Flash Player is available in four flavors: The 'Internet Explorer – ActiveX' version is an ActiveX control for use in Internet Explorer, its shells, and other Windows applications that support ActiveX technology.
This update removes Adobe Flash Player that is installed on any of the Windows operating systems that are listed in the 'Applies to' section. After you apply this update, it cannot be uninstalled.
